Parliamentarians receiүe UN human rights expert

led by Mr. Arman Danielyan, a member of the UN Subcommittee on Preүention of Torture, that is үisiting Mongolia at an inүitation of the National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR).

They shared information on tortures and then discussed a matter on running a training themed Creating a national mechanism of fruitful preүention dedicated to experts of the NCHR and related NGOs.

Apart of Mr. Danielyan, the delegation has comprised Matthew Pringle, an Europe and Central Asia Program Officer at the Association for the Preүention of Torture (APT); Ulugbek Azimoү, a legal expert at the Independent Human Rights Protection Group at the UN Human Right High Commission; and Suraina Pasha, a Regional Training Manager at Asia Pacific Forum (APF). Their үisit will last until April 26.
